Check what changed on any web page

Paste a URL to capture a baseline. Come back anytime in the next 24 hours and we will show you exactly what was added or removed, marked in place, side by side. No sign up required.

Capture a baseline in a click

Paste any public URL and we snapshot the page. We hold it for 24 hours so you can re-check whenever you need to.

See exactly what changed

When the page moves, we mark added text in emerald and removed text in red, in place, before and after side by side.

From a check to a monitor

Want it watched around the clock? One click turns this URL into a live monitor with email, Slack, Discord, or webhook alerts.

Rendered safely

The before and after views are sanitized and rendered inside a hard-sandboxed frame with no scripts and an opaque origin, so the page you are checking can never run code, read your session, or touch anything else on this site.

Frequently asked

01Is the OnChange website change checker really free?

Yes. The public tool captures a baseline of any reachable URL and re-checks it for changes with no account required. It is rate-limited to keep it fair, but it costs nothing and there is nothing to install.

02How do I check if a website changed?

Paste the page's URL and click Check this page. We fetch the page and store a baseline snapshot for 24 hours. Come back later - after a deploy, a price update, or a terms change - and click Check for changes. We re-fetch the page, compare it against the baseline, and mark exactly what was added or removed.

03How long does the baseline last?

Baselines are held for 24 hours from the moment of capture. Within that window you can re-check as often as you like. After 24 hours the baseline expires and you simply run the first check again to capture a fresh one.

04How is the before and after shown?

When a change is found, the tool renders the page before and after side by side with added text marked in emerald and removed text marked in red, in place, so you can see what actually changed rather than reading a raw diff. Each pane scrolls independently.

05What is the difference between this tool and monitoring?

This tool is a manual, on-demand check: you run it yourself whenever you want to know if a page moved. Monitoring runs the same comparison automatically on a schedule and alerts you by email, Slack, Discord, or webhook the moment a change is detected. Every check here has a one-click shortcut to turn the URL into a live monitor.

06Can it check JavaScript-heavy pages?

The free checker fetches the page and compares its content. For JavaScript-rendered single-page apps and element-level targeting with CSS selectors, create a monitor - rendering and selector targeting are available on paid plans.
